Our co-hosts
Two co-hosts will lead Marvin on the Rock: Ève Laurier and Sébastien Benoit!
Ève Laurier
Ève Laurier is a member of Bombardier’s executive committee and serves as the global head of marketing, communications, and government affairs. Ève embodies a leadership style marked by authenticity and commitment, and she is recognized for her active contributions to community engagement initiatives both within and beyond her industry.
Driven by a deep desire to make a difference, Ève is especially dedicated to causes related to children’s health, to which she devotes a significant share of her energy.
"As a society, we have the power - and indeed the duty - to break the silence around sexual violence inflicted on our children in Quebec. Supporting the Marie-Vincent Foundation means acknowledging the courage of survivors and taking concrete action for their well-being. It is a privilege to share the stage and contribute to this event, which reflects the Foundation’s real and profound impact on our society. I promise you that you can count on my energy throughout the evening, because this cause deserves nothing less."
Sébastien Benoit
Everyone knows Sébastien Benoit, a passionate and devoted artist with an enviable career in show business.
In the early 1990s, he hosted La Grande Traversée on CISM, the student radio station of Université de Montréal. After completing the Québec Bar exam, he chose not to practice law and instead pursued a career in communications. You’ve seen him countless times as a host, interviewer, reporter, and columnist: think of Flash, La Fureur, Pyramide, Droit au but, Connivence, Tam-Tam, Occupation Double, and many more!
The host is a “huge hockey fan,” a sport he still plays weekly. He also regularly plays tennis and enjoys running. While Sébastien’s name may not immediately evoke sports television for some, he has in fact worked in the field. He hosted Tricolore sur la route and Droit au but on Radio-Canada, then appeared on TVA Sports with Le Fanatik and as a commentator for Rogers Cup tennis matches in Montreal. He also hosted daily shows during the Sydney Olympic Games and produced segments for the Salt Lake City Olympics.
Alongside his television career, he was heard on CKOI (2001–2003) and on Rythme FM (since 2004). In 2023, a year-long celebration was held in his honor as he marked his 20th year on the network!
After more than 30 years in the business, Sébastien shows no signs of slowing down. Since 2024, he has been the host of Canada’s most-watched show: Chanteurs Masqués! He also co-hosts the popular La Poule aux Œufs d’Or on TVA, as well as Gala Célébration, which kicks off the new year in grand style on the same channel. And for a twelfth season, he continues to host Coup de food on Zeste, a gourmet rendezvous that lets him share delicious meals with local personalities.
Energetic, charming, friendly, passionate, and endlessly quick-witted - one thing’s certain: with Sébastien Benoit, you can always expect the unexpected, as this renowned artist has more than one talent and surprise up his sleeve!
